Phobias Treatment and Counselling

Do you start to feel overwhelming anxiety when your are faced with a certain object, animal or situation? Will you try to avoid exposure of fear at all costs? Does merely thinking about the “trigger” precipitate a flood of anxiety? If so, you most likely suffer from a phobia.

Phobias are numerous and diverse – common phobias include fear of being in confined spaces (claustrophobia) and fear of heights (acrophobia). Sometimes a phobia can be long-standing whilst in other cases phobias can arise suddenly as a response to a traumatic incident.
